Problem with Apple TV and Now TV

Hi, I have two Apple TV4K both working without issues but recently both have the same problem with the NOWTV app. Newly served content comes up with this error:

’Sorry! Unable to play requested content at the moment, please try again later’.


the same content from the NOWTV app opens without issue on my iPad so it is not the NOW! App. I can also happily play old content on Apple TV from the NOWTV app. Please help. All obvious stuff has been tried. Reboot, resolution change, reinstall of the app.

Verify that your Apple TV system software is up-to-date. Update your Apple TV - Apple Support


As you have already reinstalled [2], a next step is to contact the content provider, as they are responsible for the app’s behavior.
