AppleTV Disney+ App Will Not Login from Mobile Device
This is re-opening a thread from last year, where the "solution" offered was (basically), "yes it will."
Well I had the problem today (24 Jan 24), same as described in the previous thread.
When the Disney+ app opens it gives an option to log-in or to log-in to the app "on your mobile device, and we'll take it from there."
One cannot move the AppleTV cursor on to that option (to "select" it) and bringing the iPhone with the Disney+ open (and me logged in) does nothing (sometimes proximity of the iPhone to the AppleTV seems to be an issue).
Work Around:
- On your iPhone, copy your Disney+ password from Keychaing (or 1Password, or whatever).
- One AppleTV, launch the Disney+ app.
- Select "Log in with email" (or whatever it says) at the bottom of the app log-in screen.
- Enter your email. AppleTV will let you select from recently used emails.
- At the password field, open the Remote app on your iPhone.
- Paste your password into the password field.
You're logged in.
Kind of a pain, but better than hand keying a strong password using the AppleTV remote.
