Is there a way to have a shortcut menu appear on the CarPlay screen?

I got it to appear when I have Siri run the shortcut but not when I have it intitiate on an automation. Also when Siri runs it siri reads everything aloud and I was wondering if I can prevent that and just have the menu appear on the CarPlay screen.

Creating a shortcut that activates other shortcuts I moved to iPhone from Samsung. In Samsung, there is an AI called Bixby. You can set up "Quick Commands" in Bixby. For example. I had one that when I said "Hi Bixby, Goodnight." Bixby would do the following: Close a list of apps (it didn't matter if they were actually open or not, it would try). Turn all my volumes to max. Turn off the Bluetooth. Turn off the Hotspot. Turn on all my alarms. Send a series of text messages to tell my wife goodnight. (I work away from home a lot.) I would like to set the same thing up in Siri Shortcuts. I have figured out how to create a shortcut that does each of the above things. However, how do I add them to Siri so I say the one command "Goodnight" and she does all of the things on the list? Or, in other words, she activates each of the shortcuts that does the things listed. (I plan on using some of those in other shortcuts for other things to reduce the number of duplicates. i.e. Turning off the Bluetooth is something that I do multiple times a day for various reasons. Having one shortcut for performing that action, then just calling it when needed is the best method.) Thanks.

Is there a reason? I also noticed you can’t add any shortcuts in icon form to the CarPlay Home Screen is there a reason for this? Like potential safety issue or is just a buggy thing to allow and they don’t want to spend the time on it since most people have never used a shortcut?

No sé. You would have to ask Apple that; why running Shortcuts is allowed from Siri but not from the control head.

It will run the shortcut it just will only show a menu on the phone screen or if the phone is locked the automation fails
