Siri Shortcut not performing Find My app actions

Hello,

I want to be able to use the Find My app features within the Shortcuts app. I want to be able to run a shortcut that opens the Find My app and selects the person that I want to find. I have seen people say to use siri shortcuts and I try that and it does not run. It has a blank app image and runs without doing anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need a Shortcut for it.

  • ✅ say “Hey Siri, Find XYZ” → You’ll see the result as shown in Pic 1.
  • ❌ If the person has not shared their location with you → You’ll see the result as shown in Pic 2.
  • ⚠️ If the person has shared their location, but it cannot be determined (due to internet issues at their location, their device switched off, or they are out of network coverage) → You’ll see the result as shown in Pic 3.
