Reset iPad Requires "Remote Management"

I have bought a second hand iPad 3 years ago. It was entirely reset as I received it and I was able to configure and activate it with my credentials without any problems.

3 years later, I reset the iPad again to make a clean install for my son (just now).

After rebooting, I am asked to unroll for remote management at a company I've never heard of.

Everything looks exactly like in this discussion: New iPad Requires "Remote Management" by … - Apple Community

Since I had no problems configuring it the first time without running into the Remote Management issue, I don't understand what is happening.

Just like in the discussion I pointed to, I bought it from a second hand professional. I can't say whether they were reputable or not but I was able to use my iCloud account, screen time settings and everything else as normal without any Remote Management issues.

Is there anything I can do to get this iPad de-enrolled? By pressing Enroll, I was able to access the iPad and log into my son's iCloud account but the device has software pre-installed and is locked through device management.
