iPhone 15 - While Charging via MagSafe, It Keeps Turning On and Off

While using a MagSafe charger bought at Apple, iPhone 15 charging keeps turning on and off, every couple seconds. I use the same charger for my iPhone 13 Pro Max with no issues. iPhone 15 also will charge with no issues with aftermarket MagSafe chargers.

What gives? Is there a firmware update for the MagSafe or something that’s not publicly known?
