Macbook M1 max Sonomo 14.3 Wi-fi "Details" button not working

The details button under my Settings>>Wi-Fi> connection name does not show the details. See screenshot. This has not worked for several updates. Does not make any difference which wifi signal I"m connected to:

If I type TCP into the settings search bar, I get an error message:

Any ideas?? Although I'm an experience mac user, I am not a superuser or an advanced technician.

Thanks for your help.

First I heard this issue. I can not reproduce the error in any of macOS Sonoma 14.x.x releases...

Have you shut down and restarted more than once since your 14.3 update?

To trouble shoot further you can:

—A SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

This test will tell you if third party interference; most* extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

Note:

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS

Thank you. Yesterday, I booted into SAFE MODE, twice, with no change in this behavior, I have restarted 50+ times in the 4 or more weeks since this started. This morning, I did a full reinstall of Sonoma up to 14.3, with no change in the behavior.

As a side note, my wife's macbook is exactly the same setup, on the same 14.3, and does NOT have this issue.

Also of note, and somehow I think it is related. I can no longer get Internet access on my iPhone's internet hotpsot when I connect to it via wifi. It doesn't gets an IP (see attached screenshot). My wife's macbook and my son's windows laptop work off of MY iphone hotspot instantly, no problem.

I have already verified with my cell carrier (Mint Mobile) that personal hotspot is enabled on my account.

Anyone have further ideas, this is maddening!

So many thanks,

SOLUTION: Here is the solution to this problem, if anyone else is have the same problem. I got on Apple phone support, and after an hour, that had me add a 'new location' to this setting in macos > settings > network .

As soon as I added a new location, then attached a new wifi service and a new ethernet service to that location, my personal hotspot immediately picked up, and the DETAILS button started working and showed the IP, and other specifics.
