outgoing email server not responding on ipad and iphone but working on windows computer

All of a sudden my outgoing (comcast) email will not send and will not authenticate when trying to reinstall

Can't send email on any of my apple devices. I purchased a new imac and ipad pro and have added my email account to the mail app. I can get all my emails BUT CAN NOT SEND! I've deleted and re added the account several times to without success. I receive various error messages one being the smtp outgoing server does not recognize the mail account! The out going server name (mobile.charter.net) is correct! I've called Apple support and Spectrum and they have been unable to find a solution! Additionally I've rebooted my modem and router hoping it would solve the problem ... it did not!

Emails won't send on iPad or iPhone but okay on MacBook. If I try to send emails from my iPhone 16 (OS26.1) or iPad (OS26.1) I get "Cannot Send Mail ****@***** is not a valid email address and has been rejected by the server". I have tried on a number of email addresses all of which are fine. I can receive emails on both devices. On my MacBook Pro running OS 17.1 (yes its an old one and that is the highest OS that it can run) I can send and receive emails okay. I have made no changes to settings on any device. I am at a loss to know what to do.
