Multiple bluetooth connections

I have just bought hearing aids that connect to my phone and TV via bluetooth. Is it still the case that whilst I can pair multiple devices via bluetooth, only one connection will work at any given time? I know Android can do more than one and last I saw any answer to this for iOS was almost a year ago.

As far as hearing aid compatibility, iPhones & Android phones, are not much different. Both are rated at H3, T4.

When it comes to Bluetooth, your iPhone 14 Pro support the 5.3 Bluetooth standard. For reference, the very latest is 5.4 (release in Feb 2023) ... so not far behind. Since there are literally hundreds of Android phone models, I can't tell you what standards they support.

What is you actual goal? To stream audio from your iPhone to the hearing aids and be able to stream audio from your TV to the same hearing aids simultaneously?

I'd like to be able to watch TV or a DVD on my TV bluetoothed into my hearing aids and not have it drop out if I get a call on my phone (that connects to my hearing aids) or any other app I use that uses bluetooth interrupting the sound feed all the time. My hearing is pretty awful and I've not been able to really watch/listen to TV/DVDs without turning the TV up so much my neighbours can hear it quite clearly. I am enjoying taking calls on my hearing aids as you can with normal ear buds. I like to play games on my phone but they all seem to interfere with everything now. Seems I can't get the benefit of everything at the same time.
