I (inadvertently) paid for one month of Applemusic. It's ending soon and I'm getting messages on my phone that I will lose access to downloads, playlists etc. if I don't continue the subscription. ? is this true

Anything downloaded or added to your library from the Apple music subscription service will be removed yes.
Any actual purchases from the iTunes Store that were downloaded to the device should remain untouched. But if they are removed, can be re-downloaded from your Purchase history.

Thank you for the info! Just to clarify: if some downloaded music was added to a playlist of music that I own (e.g. a CD) will the entire playlist go away? or just those downloaded songs?
