I believe my iPhone got hacked

There was a warning on my phone to go to settings and then some of the apps went dark and now they look fine but they have a blue dot by them

iPhone SE showing scam message while using Merriam-Webster dictionary app While using Marriam Webster dictionary app, my iPhone SE displayed a screen saying my phone was under attack by several malware actions: Trojan Horse; a threat to delete pictures and files; a threat to take over my phone. In the upper left corner of screen was iPhone “settings” symbol. My question is: if my iPhone was under an attack, would a warning be displayed indicating it was from the “settings” app in my iPhone? Notification says I’m hacked then gives me an app I was searching up something on safari and a notification popped up saying that my phone had been hacked and there is a hacker tracking my activity. It then took me to a white screen counting down the time I have left before my phone was shutdown or something like that. It then gave a link to the Apple Store saying “buy this app to keep your iPhone safe” the app it gave me was “Mobile Antihacker Defence” (yes with a C) I didn’t download the app and from what I know nothing actually happened but I was wondering what to do and wanted to warn others

Hello~ Your iPhone wasn’t “hacked”. The blue dots will generally disappear once you open the updated app. Try it and see….post back if needed.

You mean they have a blue dot on the Home Screen? That indicates the app was updated. Otherwise share a screenshot of what you are seeing. As far as the warning…what exactly did it say? Had to be more than tell you to go to settings.
