Upgrade to Sonoma from MacBook Pro High Sierra 2017?

According to MacTracker, all of the 2017 MacBook Pros can run Ventura. That's not Sonoma, but it is one of "the most recent three" and will likely be one of "the most recent three" for at least another year and a half. I'd say to forget about Sonoma and be happy that you can upgrade to a current OS.

A 2017 is too old to run Sonoma, I have the same problem. There is no unsupported version.
Any posts here telling you how to evade established OS limits would be removed by the Mods as an OS software terms of use violation. Apple's playground, Apple's rules.
