Apple Podcasts Connect - cant register!

I'm trying to register my podcast channel - https://podcastsconnect.apple.com/login

After authorization, I enter the account name in the “Account Setup” form, select Individual, agree to the terms of service, click the “Save” button and see a screen that says “Join Apple Podcasts Connect” and the “Get Started” button. And when I click on the Start button again, I am led in a circle: Setting up an account. And so on ad infinitum!

Indeed, I have a developer registered on my Apple ID. I signed in with a different Apple ID and was able to create a channel, but I can't Publish a new show with a third-party stream. When publishing, it gives an error that the region is not specified and the category is not specified. At the same time, everything is set. The language is en and the category is Music

There are currently no countries or regions listed for this show in which it will be available. Select at least one country or region. - You must specify the main category.

This sort of thing has been a problem for many people: indeed almost every post from people who are creating podcasts is about this rather than issue with their own podcast. As it's internal to Apple I can only offer the following standard advice, which may or may not help; probably it won't but there really isn't anything else I can suggest.


It's become apparent that you cannot log into Podcasts Connect with a Developer ID - see below. You must have a payment method registered in Apple Music/iTunes: make sure your computer is authorised to play purchases (Apple Music or iTunes menu Account>Authorisations>Authorise this Computer). Then try logging in at https://podcastsconnect.apple.com.  One poster found that going into 'private browsing' worked.

If this fails I would suggest reporting it Podcasts Support: https://podcastsconnect.apple.com/contact-us , though if you haven't been able to complete the submission you may not be able to access them: in which case the next step is to contact Apple Support: Support


Don't present this as a podcasting problem - they don't handle those and will refer you to Podcasts Support. Present the problem as being the inability to access Podcasts Support. It's also been suggested that getting them to look at your Apple ID may clear matters.

Try en-us or en-uk as appropriate.


According to Apple's own documentation 'Music' should be OK though there are sub versions, such as 'Music commentry' - see

this is some kind of nightmare! I have a feeling that Apple has assembled the stupidest employees with the most crooked hands in the podcast division. Absolutely nothing works and everything is buggy! All errors are either not informative (the exact reason is not written), or simply no error is indicated (it just doesn’t work and that’s it, guess for yourself).

Now I deleted the old show and tried to create a new one, I specified the RSS URL and an error appeared with the text “Unable to load, try again later”


It’s not permissible to do this for such a huge company!
