Mouse On Mac Studio becomes unresponsive

The Max OS is totally up to date. 14.2.1.

I do a LOT of photography and video graphic work. Within this last year, I have noticed that my Apple Mouse will suddenly be unresponsive. Let me explain unresponsive. I can move the mouse around on any one of my three monitors, but for Finder, it will not select anything. When it is unresponsive like that, every time I find another app that is open, regardless of what app it is, all I have to do to make the mouse respond is to click on and other app besides another find window.

As soon as I do this, I can go back to the finder window I was working and continue to do what I want.

When it is unresponsive, a right-click is also not available.

I have discussed this with Apple Support, but all they told me to do is create another user and see if it happens there. This is an impossible solution, since I would have to rebuild ALL of my folders with their respective capabilities.

I am virtually processing 100s of photos and videos each day.

I would like to see if anyone out there is having the same issue.

cursor position update is done at Low priority in the background. if your mouse is not appropriately responsive, it is often a lack of spare CPU cycles that is the source of the problem.

By far the easiest way to cause poor performance, instability, overheating and crashing is to install ANY third-party speeder-uppers, Cleaners, Optimizers, or Virus scanners, or a VPN that you installed yourself.

¿running anything like that?
