Hackers on old devices

They have never stopped robbing me or getting my texts or emails or anything else. It’s never ending. It has ruined my career and I paid apple with a gift card and they somehow charge the card on file anyway. It was locked it makes no sense. Without my authorisation is stealing. The links to Amazon for iTunes and books is where it all started in 2016

"... I paid apple with a gift card.."

No, you paid criminals posing as Apple.

It is a very old scheme. Shady support "vendors" pay for and get high ad placement in search engine results and/or web sites with nothing in their adverts to indicate they are NOT Apple. Some even use Apple trademarks illegally.

They often ask for payment in gift cards—that should have been your first "Ah-hah!" moment—and then get you to give them remote access to your computer. They now have full access to your accounts and services. Your were scammed but not by Apple.

If you a have any targets for financial relief, it is not Apple but the search engines or web sites that allow scammers like that to give the sites money for what is blatant fraudulent activity. They have been doing this for years.

If a robber steals from someone at gunpoint, how long should one wait to call the police?

Why have you waited so long to act? At this point your accounts are probably so trashed that the only action you can take is to to close out EVERYTHING and set up new accounts with new, hard-to-guess passwords. Normally, reporting an unauthorized charge to your financial institution in a timely manner gets quick action on their part to correct it. However, after eight long years, they can do little or nothing.
