Cellular data not working after iOS 17.3 update on iPhone 13 mini

nothing more to say…. My mobile data don’t work anymore since last update. I did nothing else strange, I’m quite sure the update is the problem. Anyone else having this issue? Restarting does nothing.

Here's what the support rep had me do. This first part applies for an iPhone with any carrier:

Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset, tap Reset Network Settings (please note this will removed any saved WiFi Passwords).

Once done, you should follow the steps below to remove any APNs and VPNs.

Go to Settings > General > VPN and device management > Delete any APN profile ( If you see a profile there )

Also Settings > VPN > Delete any existing VPN Profile

And Settings > Safari > Clear Cache/Data

The next step depends on your carrier, and you'll have to call their support for exact instructions. I'm on a carrier which uses the Verizon network, and these were the final steps for my phone:

After this, please follow the steps below to re-add the APNs.

Please open apn.droam.com in the Safari browser on your device. This website will help you set up APN settings for your device.

Select "Manually" from the options presented.

In the APN Name, enter "vzwinternet".

Touch the bottom-most empty box (which is actually the "Install Profile" button but you may not be able to see the label) to download the APN Profile.

Allow download for the profile.

After the profile is downloaded, go to Settings > General > VPN and Device Management > Select the downloaded profile > Install

Turn the airplane mode On for 30 seconds, then disable airplane mode.

Turn off WiFi and test the Cellular Data connection.

Same thing happened to me. T-Mobile said it’s an Apple issue and Apple said it’s T-Mobile. Reset cellular data and still no cellular data. Now told me sign out of my Apple ID, completely reset everything then tell me to call T-mobile to reconnect my eSIM card. So my phone at the moment is completely useless. Oh and the 2 step verification with no phone or iCloud email is dumb. There is no way to get code sent without a working phone.

I don’t even have cell service after my 17.3 update and nothing has worked (sim swap, network reset, rebooted a lot of times, etc.). My phone stubbornly shows “No signal”. I’m with Rogers in Canada, and the carrier assures me there’s no issue with the account or network (plus everyone else around me has full bars). I have to carry around an old phone just to have any service (SMS, phone, data).

Apple support has escalated to the engineers but it’s been two weeks with nothing…

I’m having this same exact problem. I updated to iOS 17.3 about 7am and haven’t been able to use my data this whole day. I’ve turned it off/on multiple times, reset the network settings, and checked all my cellular settings. Everything is looking fine. I can call and text. Just can’t use data. It was working just fine last night before I updated.
