How to save search results to a new save-search with out losing the previously saved one?

I press Cmd-Opt-Space-bar to open a Finder-Search window. I add lines of all my criteria, click Save, and get a new saved search in the sidebar of the Finder. Fine. But when I change the criteria, and want to save it as a separate saved search in the sidebar (I click Save), it just saves it to the previous one. I once did it with the option to rename it, but that doesn't come up anymore. In fact, I already have some saved searches in the Finder sidebar with different names, but those were made a while ago. All I can do now is save to the current saved-search. How do I create one with a new name!

How do I do this? TIA!

I think I found it. File > New Smart Folder

Add your criteria, then rename it on the Sidebar.

Or create the new smart folder and rename it first!

Seems kind of clunky and not straightforward at all. Why not a Save As function? Was it always like this?
