HEIC vs PNG from Goodnotes

I do some drawings and things in Goodnotes 6. I used to be able to drag and drop the images from the goodnotes into my files app and it used to be PNG format. After I did my last iPad upgrade, when I try to drag and drop my drawings and other things from Goodnotes into the files app it's HEIC. How do I get it back to doing PNG instead of HEIC

This might be too late, but I figured out that if once the image is in the documents folder, if you long press on it, a list of actions pops up. So click: quick actions --> Convert image --> and then it'll ask you for the file type and size you want to convert it to. That's what I've figured out and it seems to work for good notes so hopefully this helps.
