Undeletable recording icon in text bubble

Get rid of it by - start typing in the bubble then touch the microphone icon in the lower left of the screen. Automatic record switches back to regular option.

How do I remove the microphone icon from my screen? A few weeks ago, I noticed I suddenly had a microphone icon appear on my screen. Unfortunately I have not been able to close it and it is always there on my screen. I am able to put it sleep so that it isn't working, but other than that I cannot move it from my screen. Can someone help me to close it?
