I downloaded MP4 videos from my camera to an external drive and they wont work in FCP - I purchased video converter and tried 3 times and all failed - any suggestions
Is there a better video converter that I can try?

What’s the camera? MPEG-4 doesn’t mean much. Does the media open in the QuickTime Player? Open a file in MediaInfo or Invisor and post the complete information on the file.
