I need to upload a video to Amazon showing the actions of a defective item. (taken on my iPhone 14). I also have a Macbook Air 2022. Their website will only accept MP4 format. I've tried using Quicktime and also iMovie but each time the file saves as .mov. I'm not great at technology but neither am I hopeless. I'd really appreciate any help.

Right click on the file in Finder and then Encode Selected Video Files.
The options are limited so if no good to you then download Handbrake. It'll convert any movie format to another movie format.

I thing this mov is mp4. Try changing .mov to .mp4. When I try that, it works.

Video files are notoriously flaky. You never know for sure what those extension suffix's mean.
