IPHONE 15 Pro Max suddenly will not connect to Apple Car Play (after working perfectly for about 5 months. Have tried deleting device and starting all over; pairing over bluetooth again; it says it's connected and paired but will not start Apple Car Play...Ive checked settings to make sure /car play is enabled etc. Any advice on what to try next?

SOLVED FOR ME: This problem has plagued me for about a month on various iPhones in my Hyundai Elantra. They all worked fine before with CarPlay. For me having the latest iOS 17.3 AND using an official Apple charging cord did the trick. I believe it has to do with official Apple products because my main phone would also not work with any off brand charger or powerbank ONLY Apple chargers.
