All folders in Apple Notes toolbar are yellow. Would like to see alternate colors

I use my Apple Notes constantly. Is there a way to choose different colors for different folders? Presently, they are all yellow.

Notes toolbar is missing on Mac (not iPhone) I've seen multiple answers to this relating to the iPhone (where I have no issue with this), but in the iCloud Notes on my MacBook Pro (running Sequoia 15.6.1), there is no toolbar. LOOK: This is what I see. Has also been true prior to running the current OS version. I used to be able to drag and drop an image or create a table, but no longer. Please advise... Thanks.
