How to connect my DVD player to my Mac?
I have a fairly new DVD Player. It’s an Apple. I have a brand new desktop MAC. How do I connect it to my new MAC?
Anybody know?

You probably have an Apple SuperDrive CD/DVD device. They look like this:
… Apple USB SuperDrive - Apple
Which Apple desktop? All new Apple desktops will have USB-C, some will have USB-A, and some can have other connections.
(If you don’t have USB-A connections, I’d guess you have one of the iMac 24” models. Most (all?) of the other Mac desktops should have both USB-C and USB-A, and potentially other connections.
If you don’t have USB-A, and given SuperDrive needs lots of power, I’d stay with the Apple adapter, or with another adapter that specifically mentions SuperDrive support. Various of the third-party USB-C to USB-A adapters specifically exclude SuperDrive, or just don’t work.
