Truphone Family Sharing
I cannot get the truphone customer service to respond to my inquiries. I purchased 2 standalone Apple Watch plans for my children to allow them to have cellular service in their brand new Apple SE 2nd gen Watches . One watch has no issue and the cell service with Truphone functions. The 2nd exact same brand new watch has not been able to connect to the cellular service with the exception of the first 2 hours after purchasing the plan. I have been involved in an email exchange to try to remedy the situation since jan4 with no resolution. I have not had ANY response at all to any of my cases for a week! I email daily to the existing case and also open a new case every other day to try to get ANYONE to reply. If I did not have functioning service with one watch, I would think the Truphone was not a viable cell service. I want to continue with the service but I need to have it work! I requested cancellation and refund of plan on Jan 9 and was told cancellation was processing and I would be refunded in 7 -10 days. This has still not occurred and the watch is still “attached” to the non functioning plan so I can’t even purchase a new plan. I am beyond frustrated. The Support email address on their webpage is non functioning. This is very poor customer support and I am surprised that APPLE still recommends them - reviews are horrible. I don’t have a lot of choice because my current cell phone carrier does not support family sharing. Next step is to get my credit card involved to stop payment. Unfortunately I prepaid a year because it was best pricing- that was a terrible idea! I would rec anyone in the US purchasing Truphone - do so with monthly only. When it works/ it works well (ie on one of my 2 watches).
