How can I delete all hidden files on an external drive?

Trying to copy large numbers of archived files to a NAS from external drive.

Copy process keeps stopping because the NAS will not accept Macintosh hidden files.

This means I have to:

  1. Display hidden files on the external drive
  2. Dig down into the folder(s) and find the hidden file(s).
  3. Delete it/them.
  4. Start copying again until the next hidden file stops the process.

This is VERY time consuming.

My question: How can I BATCH DELETE hidden files on an EXTERNAL DRIVE?

I'd prefer a Terminal command rather than pointing me at propriety software
