hi guys sorry for booring question..first iphone here..i used my 15 for a while and never connected to itunes before..now if i try to connect with it say to configure as new ..is this an erasing operation?or evrything Will remain in phone?tanks so much
The "Setup as New" option means it will set the iPhone as a new device syncing to that computer -- not that it will erase the iPhone

When connecting an iPad or iPhone to computer iTunes for the first time, you will get the choice to restore from backup or setup as new; the setup as new choice does nothing to the iPhone or iPad (i.e., it does not erase the device -- however another user here in this forum has noted that if any data was previously synced from another computer to the device, that data will be removed from the device.).

If you are seeing the "Setup as New" option, that is safe to do. I have done that on several of my phones and it doesn't erase anything on the phone.
Thx so much honestly my last iPhone was a 4 model😂..its been a while..this new 15 i didnt Connect yet..so you think m safe on do that..cause import evrything as whatsapp from Android was a spine😉
