Transfer what data? What have you tried?

There really isn’t a migration path from iPhone iOS to Mac and macOS, as the two aren’t all that comparable. File sharing, sure. Migration, not so much.

Assuming recent versions of both…

Both can access the same iCloud storage. That’s via Files app on iOS, and via Finder on macOS.

Both can use AirDrop, as well.

Cable sync can be possible for file transfers, but I would not usually choose that path for file transfers. (Cable sync does work for Music and some other contents, via Finder.)

The iOS Files app can mount a Mac file share via the local network, as well.

Again… What data are you trying to migrate? What happened when you tried?

PS: QuickStart is not applicable here. That works to migrate from iPhone to iPhone, iPad to iPad, and among iPhone and iPad devices, but not involving Mac.
