I need to amend my 2020 taxes and downloaded TurboTax Home Business 2020 per TurboTax instructions, dragged the "disk with the RED checkmark" into my Applications folder, yet when I try to open it and my 2020 return (which was downloaded from my TurboTax account), I get that it is a read-only document; therefore, I am unable to amend my taxes. Is there a glitch with Mac, TurboTax, or what?

Contact Turbotax tech support to verify your version of Turbotax is compatible with your current Mac OS under Apple menu -> About This Mac. If they don't have an upgrade patch, see if your Mac can downgrade to the system your Turbotax was initially running on.

Never have to worry about OS compatibility. Although I don't believe you can import old Turbotax returns. That would be a nice feature.
