Cox transitioning to yahoo

Since Cox communications is transitioning their emails to Yahoo, and I use my Apple platform for my Cox emails, how will that affect my receiving emails.. Is there something I need to do so that I can still use my Apple platform wherein yahoo will be providing Email service?

DID THIS get resolved? Wow this is very bad if emails from yahoo server stay on their server and don't transfer to MAIL app and there is no help or expected reliability from it. Now Im seriously thinking I have to shut down my COX ID. wow. I still cant send any email, only receive email. I continue to get The sender email address xxxxxxxxxxxxx.cox.net was rejected by the server smtp.mail.yahoo.com. from my MAC

The server response was: Email rejected

Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent.

do you have your sending of cox.net email address pointed to the apple server to send it?

did you do that in the account settings?

that might be the fix I need to reply email with the cox.net ID .

I do not want to "Delete" my old cox account as I'm concerned it will delete all my past COX emails in Mail for Mac.

If I have to delete my old cox account, How can I preserve my old Cox emails in Mail for Mac?
