I bought the new 15-inch Macbook Air in June and have realized that it is too slow for video editing.
I want to trade it in for a Macbook Pro with upgraded RAM but Apple says it is too new that they won't expect it for a trade-in. Does anyone have advice or know how I can trade it in? Thanks!

We are users like you. If Apple says they will not accept it for trade in we can not influence that decision.
You could sell it privately. Make sure you do this before selling it.
