Sharing Movie folder on iCloud

The Movie folder is a required folder on each Apple computer, therefore, to share it to the iCloud, an alias folder has to be created. The problem is that the information from one computer (an iMac in this case) does not get shared (via iCloud) to another computer (a MacBook) because on the MacBook, it seems to see the alias and looks at its *own* Movie folder, not the alias folder in the cloud. Is there a way to sync the information from both Movie folders to each computer?

If I start an iMovie Project on iPad, I can move it (share it) and all of the footage etc to the MacBook Air to continue working. But if I start an iMovie Project on the iMac, I cannot share it and its footage to the MacBook Air. That is what I am seeking to do. There are Community posts discussing this but none since 2019. How to share an iCloud file or folder with anyone, from the Finder? I used to share iCloud files directly from the Finder, Share > Copy Link. Now this "Copy Link" option is nowhere to be found. Where can I the option in Finder? I'm using the latest OS, Sequoia 15.5.

Making iCloud folder sharing work for Pages and Keynote files Hello, can someone please tell me if I can share folders via iCould for collaboration with someone else? I am using a new iMac and have tried this in so many different ways - even asking ChatGPT for advice. But it just does not work. I always get an error message. ChatGPT says that this is normal and that I should ultimately just use a different provider. I would love to share a folder to easily update files and save them in apple formats like pages, keynote etc. When I use pCloud e.g. I cannot use Pages (or just download them, but not edit directly).
