Alarm only works with default sound on iPhone

I am running the latest software (17.3) on an iPhone 13.

Since the start of 2024 my alarm will only play the default sound. I have erased all of my saved alarms, re-set and saved them all again and selected my alarm; yet still it plays the default which is a pretty awful alarm if I’m honest.

Ive followed all the steps set out by a previous advisor on another thread. It seems this isn’t an isolated case and is happening to many.
