iPhone 14 Pro randomly gets in activation mode after iOS 17.3 update

After updating to the most recent iOS 17.3 software update, my iphone 12 randomly gets in the activation mode at random times throughout the day. It displays the “hello” messages in all of those different languages and requires me to “activate” it everyday! When this happens, I can only screenshot and NOTHING ELSE WORKS on the phone unless it is connected to wifi or a computer to activate. This happened while driving home. I’m not even able to make emergency calls! This is unsafe and unacceptable.

Same here. While driving my phone becomes useless. They only option is to connect to wifi, but you really can't do that while driving on the interstate. This is very frustrating. I've been an iphone user since iphone 3GS was released. Now I might switch to Android if this is not resolved.

Just happened to me after taking my iPhone 14 out of airplane mode after a flight — luckily I know my AppleID password since I don’t have my laptop on me. Not sure how else I would have gotten past it, this is the third or fourth time it’s happened since 17.3

Makes me nervous
