‘You are offline’ (but I’m not!)

iPhone 12 Pro Max displaying this message when I attempt to use any apps. ‘You are offline - Go to settings and check your network connection.’

Airplane mode is off. 2. ‘Mobile network/data is on. 2a. Mobile service is working. 3. WiFi is active and connected.

I have turned airplane mode on/off then restarted the phone. I have reset all network connections. I have done a forced-restart.

The phone will still not connect.

Any suggestions please?

Hello,

It is possible for your phone to show the Wi-Fi symbol (little rainbow), but not really be connected to Wi-Fi. Have you tried the Wi-Fi at some other location? See this:

Suggestions for Wi-Fi issues

Hi,

the WiFi is definitely functioning; irrespective of whether the phone is not connecting to the WiFi, it has confirmed mobile service and is still showing the eponymous message this thread relates to.
