Number 6 button not working on my MacBook Air My number 6 button won't work in Apple-related software. It works in some instances, like Safari and Google Docs, and the ^ button works as well. It won't work in pages, this application, notes, messages, and emails. Sometimes when I first start the computer it will work in all the applications for a little bit and then it stops working. I have updated the computer and I have a work around for it - I have added the word "SIX" to be changed with the number until I can get this resolved. This all started with the newest update. Unresponsive Forward Slash key on my iMac My forward slash and question mark key has stopped working! I can't get on websites that I need to as most have forward slashes! Is there another hidden keyboard somewhere [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Test another keyboard with your iMac.

Test that keyboard connected to another Mac.

Take that keyboard into your local Apple Store for testing.
