In settings I can choose my name, and but 'sign out' at the bottom if greyed out, due to restrictions. There aren't any on it, screen time is off, content & privacy restrictions are off.
Please help - I need to sign out, so that my daughter can be signed back in on her apple ID.
Tried Apple Support who were useless.

If you have set a ScreenTime Passcode, this must be removed before you will be able to sign-out from your AppleID account:
Settings > ScreenTime > Change ScreenTime Passcode > Turn Off ScreenTime Passcode
Having disabled the Passcode, you should be able to sign-out from your AppleID/iCloud.

Hi - I ended up having to take it in to the apple store; they did a few things and we ended up having to remove her from my family sharing, get my Husband to set up family sharing on his iphone and added her. My apple ID / family sharing set up was causing some unknown issue, and this was the only way, I was then able to sign out of her iPad and back in as her.
I don't use an Apple device, haven't been for a number of years, I'm Samsung! I will never sign in again, as that was a hassle to sort out, Apple support by phone/chat were rubbish, telling me to check restrictions etc when these had all been removed. The guys in store were great, and managed to resolve the issue to get me signed out - but it was a lot of trial and error and faffing around.
Yes in theory it should, but that was tried numerous times, over and over, reset the Ipad, switched off & back on, toggled things on and off, you name it - we tried it! Some sort of bug in the system when having her on my family sharing, and I was signed in on the ipad - who knows what it was, Apple didn't even know, I was just glad to be signed out, and give it back to her with relevant settings/limits etc.
Have you figured out what to do yet? I have a useless ipad as it wont let me do anything to get back into my account
