iOS 16 is supposed to have added a feature to recover deleted text messages in the message app, when clicking on edit. But the option doesn’t appear after I installed iOS 16. Need help. iOS 16 is supposed to have added a feature to recover deleted text messages in the edit button of Messages. I don’t see it after installing the iOS 16. Anyone know where to find it?

Help retrieved an iPhone message not found in deleted text messages Received a text yesterday on iPhone 8. Now can't locate it. Not in "recently deleted" texts. Where else might it be hiding? (This was a significant text!)

I wish that was still the case, but while writing a text in response to someone, I can no longer veiw the text unless I delete what I have texted so far, completely memorize their text or copy and paste their text in notes snd then switch back and forth while responding
