Ive got an Ipod Classic that I use for podcasts only. Ive started having these connection issues.I start Itunes plug in my ipod , the icon showing its connected flashes for a second and then is gone. Windows explorer shows its connected but Itunes doesnt seem to hold the connection. I can reinstall Itunes , I can get a new cord, any other suggestion?

What version of iTunes is installed? Is it from the Microsoft Store or via a direct download from apple.com? The latter may work better with older devices.

Ive got the latest version of Itunes . Im not sure if I got it from MS store or not . Im thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling it.
