10 minute AirDrop bypass

After Chinese human rights activists used AirDrop to send information to nearby people, Apple was forced by the Chinese government to introduce a new AirDrop “feature” which deactivates “AirDrop for all” every 10 minutes.

However you can bypass this restriction on iPad OS and probably also iOS(not tested) by creating a shortcut, which sets AirDrop visibility to “everyone for 10 minutes” when run, then waits 9 minutes and starts itself (see screenshot). By that you are creating an infinite loop of activating AirDrop, which means it stays activated. You only have to run the shortcut after every reboot of the device. I recommend adding the shortcut to your homescreen.

If you know how to make it better please let me know.
