New Computer and Itunes Library on a USG HDD

I currently have my iTunes library on a USB hard drive. Everything I do with iTunes is from the USB. I got a new computer (Windows) and installed the latest iTunes on it. Set the library Edit >> Preferences >> Advanced to that USB (same as the old computer). When I start iTunes with that library nothing shows up in my music or podcasts.

What is needed to make the new computer look like the old one? For example if I order Music as "Recently Added" I want to see the couple of items I recently downloaded. Is this not possible or do I need to add all the folders again?

I did that the other day but everything was listed under recently added including music I have had for years.

Looks very difficult.

If everything is on the external drive then hold down shift as you launch iTunes, click the Choose Library button, then select the iTunes Library.itl file on the external drive. Otherwise see Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community.

I seem to have it done successfully almost. Podcasts seem to be also loaded and shown.

One more item seems to be needed. The Album artwork is not shown. A good bit of my music is downloaded from Bandcamp as mp3's with Album artwork. When I add the folders to iTunes the artwork is there.

How do I update this on the new computer?

I also now have my library on a 2nd HDD on the new computer.
