Air tag take long time to refresh about 15-20min
Air tag is new … I attached tag with my dad bike keys and it takes too long to refresh

The AIrTag relies on a Bluetooth beacon that transmits once every 3-5 mins. An iPhone needs to be within Bluetooth range (~30-40') to pick up this signal, and then, relay both the tag's ID & the phone's GPS location to the Apple servers over either a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection to the Internet.
... so, basically, updates are neither instantaneous, nor guaranteed to occur.
