Stop receiving invites on Apple Calendar

I've got a google (Gmail) account for work. For work-related planning I use the Google Calendar. However, I use Apple's iCal to manage my personal time, so I've activated my Gmail account in iCal as well, so I can view my complete availability (instead of only seeing my personal one).

So, currently I've set up both the g-mail account and my apple account for use in iCal (on Macbook & iPhone), but I receive notifications on there whenever a colleague invites me to a work function. Since I handle all my work planning through Gmail and Google Calendar, there's no need to receive invites on iCal as well. Now I have to accept or decline on both apps whenever a (gmail) invite comes along, or have a continuous notification dot on the app. I don't want to stop invites in the iCal app completely, because I do manage my personal availability and thus (personal) invites in iCal.

I'd like to see my work-related availability in iCal (combined with my personal availability like it is now), but don't want to receive invites from my work/Gmail account on there.

Is there a way to stop (showing) invites in iCal, but keep it the same on the Google side?
