Using shortcut function to change automations

Hello,

I am using the Shortcuts app on an iphone running ios17.

I have a current automation that I want to run only at select times, so I switch between "Run Immediately" when I want it on and "Don't Run" when I want it off. Although the "Run After Confirmation" might seem like an ideal solution, it would be an annoying step to keep saying no when I want it off and yes when I want it on. I'm hoping for something a little more elegant.

The solution that came to my mind was to create a shortcut, with one of the tasks inside it being to change the status of the above automation to "Run Immediately." (That would also conveniently combine with other tasks I would want to do simultaneously.) I have searched through all of the tasks that the Shortcuts app currently has listed as options to include as a line item in a shortcut, and it appears to me that changing the run status of an automation isn't currently an option.

I'm wondering if anyone either knows that it is an option, and I'm just stupidly missing it for some reason, or if there may be some other method I'm not thinking of. Of course, I can always do it manually if not.

Thanks for your help!
