What if I lost the AirPod and can’t return it?

The reason I asked to replace my right AirPod is because I lost it and couldn’t find it anywhere in ny house so I bought a replacement so what if I can’t turn in the “damaged” AirPod cause my isn’t damaged it’s just completely lost. Why would you charge me something I can’t physically send because I don’t have it to send.

Not sure if you purchased an AirPod or requested replacement under AppleCare. The confusing parts of your post are "I bought a replacement" and "Why would you charge me something I can't physically send".

  • You can buy a replacement AirPod if one is lost. No need to send anything in.
  • You can get an AirPod replaced under AppleCare for free if it needs serviced. You will need to send in the bad one or you will be charged for it.
  • There is no AppleCare coverage for a lost AirPod

Maybe more clarification is needed.
