my magic keyboard lights up when connected to my ipad pro, but nothing else works!

Suddenly mt Magic Keyboard doesn’t work anymore no my 2020 iPad Pro. I tried everything from cleaning to using assistive touch. I upgraded my iPad and even set it back to factory settings…..nothing works. The keyboard lights up when connected, but nothing else. When I go to settings->keyboards…. The Magic Keyboard shows up for a split second when I connected to the iPad, but after that, it’s gone.

It appears that you have taken the necessary troubleshooting steps to determine the issues with your Magic Keyboard. However, you have been unsuccessful to get the Magic Keyboard working normally again. I believe that there may be a hardware issue with the Magic Keyboard. My recommendation is that you take your iPad and your Magic Keyboard to the local Apple Store or an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and a resolution.
