Disable or hide screensaver clock

It appears that with Sonoma, the previous MacOS ability to hide or re-position the screensaver clock has been. lost. I have looked at Control Centre, Screensaver, General (Date&Time), and Desktop settings - can not see any way to remove/hide/disabe the screensaver clock.
