iCloud did not fully sync goodnotes after factory rest for software issues

Good evening,

Recently I went to the Apple Store to get software installed by factory rest since I was having battery life issues. At the store, I backed my iPad up on iCloud with my goodnotes, but after reinstating it on the iPad after the rest, I am having blank files in good notes. Is there a way to back the original files ? The blank files are empty, the ones with an image are full of my old notes.

How can I restore deleted Notes on my iPad? I must have accidently deleted a page in Notes, it had over 5 meetings worth of information. Today it's 2/11/2025 and I have a 02/04/2025 back up which I'm willing to use. I've tried to use this back up but every time the iPad load the missing page, it will immediately automatically write over the old backup with the latest. Turning off Notes synch will delete all the files associated with Notes, so there are no data. Co-Pilot suggests turning off the WiFi, which I will try and then save all of the information some other way. Are there any other ways to get around this problem? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Notes disappeared from iPad after I turned on icloud sync I wanted to access a note on my iphone which I wrote on my iPad. I saw my icloud wasn't synced on ipad so I turned it on. Instead of backing up iPad notes to icloud, it overwrote my notes from icloud to ipad. Now all my notes on ipad are gone. I called customer care as suggested in previous posts and they said I have to erase everything from iPad and restore from backup. They didn't seem confident if it would work since my icloud never had those notes even. How will a backup from icloud work? Please help!!!

My iPad was not syncing my notes with my iPad even though all my notes were being saved on my iCloud account. I then backed up my ipad and restarted my ipad and all my notes were erased. I cannot retrieve them anywhere even on my iCloud. My notes seem to have been permanently deleted after the back up and are not showing anywhere. How am I able to retrieve them. All my devices were backed up but the notes folder was not syncing. Now it seems to be syncing but all the notes that were on my iPad have been erased.
