Apple Music "stop" feature not working (Get Info > Options)

Reposting and looking for a solution:

Apple Music "stop" feature not working (Get Info > Options), yet the "start" feature works. You check the box and set it to a specified time, and then it should stop and play the next song when it hits your time. Yet when it plays, it just keeps going after it shows the song is finished.

I have quit the app, logged out and logged back in, and restarted my computer, but it still doesn't seem to work. I tried it on my phone and my phone had no issues (the song ended when it was supposed to). This problem is only on my MacBook. Help!
