Can't connect with my Apple Music app, kept asking me to update my Apple Music App which is already the latest version.

I am using a Sony Walkman NW-A306 and I installed both Apple Music and Apple Classical. Apple Music works fine. But I can't connect to Apple Classical. When I open it and click on the "Connect Now" botton, it asks me to go to Google Play to Update Apple Music, which is already updated.

I already unistalled both and installed again and the problem keeps unsolved.

I had the same problem and seeing the reply from Codywar11 gave me the idea to look for alternative means to Google Play to install the last version of Apple Classical. Found it from Apple: Download the Apple Music app if your country, region, or ...Apple SupportOfficial Apple Support › en-us

I downloaded the app and executed it. It will warn you that you cannot install apps outside from Google Play store unless you update a setting and gives you the option to do it right away. Then I chose 'Update' Apple Music.

After doing this, I just launched the Apple Classical app and clicked on 'Connect' and it did connect automatically and now it is running on my NW-A306.

I got really excited when I found your post. Then I realized nobody has commented yet haha. I’m having the exact same issue with my A306. Apple Music 4.3.0 has been released for Android, but the Play store on the 306 only has 4.0.0. Even though 4.3.0 only requires android 6. So I have no clue why that’s happening. I assume 4.3 is what we need to get Classical working.
